The metaperformers of Shadowbox Live are ready to kick off their first full year in their new home! For the first show of 2012, they've prepared a show full of steamy rock 'n' roll and side-splitting original sketch comedy, Body Language, opening this Thursday at 503 S. Front Street.

Shadowbox Live's sending clear signals with Body Language! Nothing is sacred when Shadowbox Live turns to topics as easily relatable, and inherently hysterical, as love, relationships, and the opposite sex. All new original sketch comedy and live rock 'n' roll combine for a sexy show that leaves no room for misinterpretation!

Sketches in Body Language will include:

Daddy's Little Girl – Frank may think it's time to have "The Talk" with daughter Angie, but he's certainly not sure what to say, and Heather insists on a practice round before the real thing.

Unspoken Language – For two silent movie fans, meeting at a film festival couldn't be more picture perfect. That is, until life starts imitating art.

Doll Counseling – Barbie and Ken have been together for a long time, but like any married couple, they're susceptible to hard times. Luckily, Gracie the Counselor is in!

Shannon's Movie Reviews – Dirty Dancing – Shannon Bannister, Age 7, gives her take on the eighties classic, Dirty Dancing.

Long Way Home – Our GPS systems are programmed to take us where we're going, but what if they took us where we should be going?

Sperm Dating – With thousands of sperm to choose from, how does an ova choose just the right one?

Battle Stations – Sometimes you just don't feel like talking to your significant other. Luckily a song can say it all for you!

The Adventures of Wingman – It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Wingman, and he's here to save men everywhere from the dangers of a Big Fat Friend.

The Doghouse – Every man has spent some time in The Doghouse at one point or another. But is it really that bad?

Man-Away Pad – Ladies, are you tired of being hit on by skeezy losers everywhere you go? Then try our new product, The Man-Away Pad, and watch them run for cover!

Passion Hospital - Making those ridiculous, clichéd, over-acted soap operas isn't as easy as it looks, and John's finding that out first hand.

Songs will include:

Foxey Lady by Jimi Hendrix

Never Loved a Man by Aretha Franklin

Black Velvet by Alannah Myles

Light My Fire by The Doors

Kiss From a Rose by Seal

You by Radiohead

Turn off the Lights by Nelly Furtado

Run to You by Bryan Adams

Purple Rain by Prince & the Revolution
