David Ayers has starred on Broadway as Sky in MAMMA MIA!, originated the role of Fyedka in the 2005 Tony-nominated revidal of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and took over the role of Fiyero in the hit Broadway Musical WICKED at the Gershwin Theatre.  David has worked with some of Broadway's greatest composers such as Adam Guettel, Stephen Schwartz, William Finn and George Stiles.  He studied with Anne Bogart's Siti Company at the Humana Festival of New American Plays and continued his studies at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival in Scotland as well as the Festival in d'Avignono in France.  David is currently playing Buffalo Bill in the Off-Broadway production of SILENCE! THE MUSICAL.

Angela Gaylor has been on Broadway when she originated the role of Annie in the Tony-Award winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, Amber in HAIRSPRAY and danced the dream ballet in Trevor Nunn/Susan Stroman's OKLAHOMA!  She appeared as the title role in CINDERELLA at the Papermill Playhouse as well as in DREAM A LITTLE DREAM: THE STORY OF THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS, and BEST FOOT FORWARD Off-Broadway.  By age 19, she was working with Stephen Soundheim and Paul Gemignani as Anne in  A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC (Mann Center, the Kennedy Center's Soundheim Celebration, Northshore Music Theatre).  Angela currently works in the casting department at Keller/Goulder in New York.

If you've never attended a Master Class before, you will want to know how it differs from a regular class.

The difference between a normal class and a master class is the setup. In a master class, all the students (and observers) watch and listen as the master takes one student at a time. The student (typically intermediate or advanced, depending on the status of the master) usually performs a single piece which they have prepared, and the master will give them advice and coaching.

Students should come prepared with a memorized song to sing. Bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No CD's or tapes will be permitted.
